
French Pension Reform Dispute Now Impacts Calais
The French port of Calais, a key route for European trade with the UK through Dover, has been impacted by a work stoppage today, Thursday, February 27th, after port workers walked out.
The CGT union organised the action, which was officially due to begin at 00:00 this morning, but only seems to have been impacting services since around late morning.
